When I bought my car, I had no idea how expensive the replacement run flat tires (RFT) were! The BMW dealership charges an outrageous $390 per tire (not installed)! Installation is another $60 per tire there too! (dont forget tax) That's over $450!!!!! Firestone Tire & Service Center quoted me almost a hundred dollars less than the dealer's ""low"" price and charge only half of the dealer's labor fee for mounting and balancing. Their price for the same tire mounted and balanced was around $350 (for one 255/35/R18 Potenza RE050A RFT ). Bottom Line: If you are driving a BMW or Mercedes with run flat tires, don't even bother going to the dealerships. They will rip you off. Basically you are paying the extra $300-400 for the loaner car for the day.... I'd much rather sit and wait, thank you very much. Pros: Best Price on Run Flat Tires RFT Cons: the wait time can be long, bring a book
