Having worked in a veterinary clinic you should understand it is not always about the doctor rearranging their schedule to see emergencies. Most clinics are multi-faceted and may have surgeries going on and only one doctor in the office. You cannot stop a surgery to care for an emergency pet. When you have an emergency with your child or even yourself, you do not expect the doctor to rearrange their schedule to see you, you go to an emergency room. That is why it is great that the Southwest Michigan Animal Emergency Hospital is here! They provide a service that vet clinics cannot always provide. They often have doctors on staff who are more specialized in areas that a general v
