Glad you asked. The overseeding was not satisfactory. I didn't observe any seeds in the thin places and although I hand watered daily for 10 days so I could survey the entire yard, I still didn't see any results of the overseeding. Consequently I went to Lowe's and bought some Scotts EZ Seed to apply myself next spring. My theory is that the application was too thin, or maybe the birds ate the seeds. Whatever, the thin places will just have to wait. I will state that the employee was courteous.
