Opportunity is there, at the end of 2 months I had my GED certification, at the end of the 4th month I had my drivers license, at the 5th month I was finished with the Electrical course and was on work based learning. When finished with that I got a chance to do the Welding program they had, something they don't usually do you are only allowed 1 trade. All this time I had my gold card and living in a brand new dorm that looks like a hotel...lol it's not over yet!!! They got me into Texas State Technical College and in 2009 I graduated with dual AAS. Electrical power & Control / Instrumentation Computerized Control & Robotics. Last year which is 2015 I made $96,000 being an Instrument & Electrical Technician.
