Review content:
My parents stayed at this hotel on Saturday night while visiting..., and after we had dropped them off around 1030pm, they got on the elevator to ride up to their room, and were greeted at floor two by some eastern european accented 'patrons' (so they said)... the patrons numbered three, two men, and a woman. They immediately, and inappropriately struck a conversation with my parents (elderly, and expecting SOME Semblance of Security in this USED TO BE REVERED HOTEL!)... the 'patron' asked what floor my parents were staying on, and foolishly me parent answered 10... they responded 'so are we!' and they asked if my parents wanted to party together in his thick poor european english accent... as the elevator arrived at ten, my parent had enough situational awareness to realize this was BAD TO THE EXTREME!... and turned to the other parent, and said, ""Damn, I forgot to turn the lights off on my car..., we need to go back to the lobby..."" The patrons took on a rather quizzical and concerned look, and as they got off the elevator, my parent quickly hit the button for the lobby, and rode back down, and told security of this adverse circumstance. Security acted like they could care less, and said, ""yeah, we'll look into it..."" Then my parents rode back up to a floor below theirs, and walked up the rest, and quietly pursued getting in their room, with hopes of not being bothered by Confidence (Wo)Men bothering them, and managed to make it to their room unfettered. The hotel never even offered to discuss this with my parents, nor comp them the room for the threat, or discuss this situation in order to assure that it would not happen in the future!!!... Very poor slack security in the hotel assures that it, and other DT's will not be used by this family in the future... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Pros: Looks Innocent Enough Cons: Con Artists preying on DT customers late at night
