Review content:
I read the reviews on Yelp and Z Tech's website. Plus the video on the website was an added "bonus" in showing that Ken, Warren and others are genuinely real and neighborly. My impressions were not changed when I arrived for a quick look-see of a problem I was having with my Ford Escape (front end grinding noise when applying brakes). By the way, my front brakes were new; had a brake job done by a different business earlier this summer. After a mechanic looked at my brakes and Ken (Z Tech owner) test driving my Escape, he told me that it was nothing serious (and it probably wasn't) and would eventually go away in a couple thousand miles. He told me that my (new) brake pads were semi-metallic and maybe, if I chose, their recommended ceramic brake pads would eliminate the grinding. Ken was all set to have me drive away without having any work done, as he didn't try to hard-sell me on anything (that's another plus of Z Tech). Well, I decided to go for the ceramic brake pad service and bingo! No more grinding noise. Z Tech did an excellent job. Plus, Ken showed me the parts replaced and the additional services they performed on the rear brakes just to keep 'er quiet when braking. Overall customer service was an A+ in my book. Everything was done while I waited in their waiting area -- which gave me time to observe other customers who dealt with Warren, a very helpful Z Tech representative (and likely other credentials). Overall Z Tech is friendly, fast, efficient and genuine.
