Review content:
I brought my truck in on Nov 6 lurching and rattling. Was told it was the transfer case, that the part would be ordered and the truck should be ready by Tuesday, the 10th. It would be at a cost of $1400.00. I called daily, and each time was told the truck delivering the part still had not arrived. Eventually it arrived and the truck was fixed by Thurs, the 12th. I was told upon picking the vehicle up that my transmission was making a bit of a noise, and I may need a new transmission. I drove my truck exactly 10 minutes before it lurched and rattled once again, just like the original symptoms. Brought it back to OLearys where I was told, yes, I now needed a new transmission. This is cost prohibitive, so I now have to retire this vehicle and no longer have anything to drive. I do not understand how they could not have determined that the transmission was the original problem at the onset-had we been so advices, we never would have spent the $1400.00. We are considering seeking legal advice on this matter. We found OLearys through our HOA message board, and we definitely would not recommend them to others after this experience.
