Ok, I have been there four times with four different cars. 2 for body work 2 for mechanical repairs. Body work was competitively priced but the body shop guy does not do a quality. The paint work is fine, but he doesn't finish the small details like making sure all the panels are secured properly so they don't rattle when you go down the interstate(Altima). On the Acura repair the trunk does not latch consistently when you close it. It clicks shut about half the time, the other half the time you have to give it a second or third try.
The mechanic side of the shop... First try... needed a seal replaced for the rear differential on the Suburban... it was leaking. They fixed it... but it only stayed fixed for 1500 miles and started to leak again. Took it to my regular place... he fixed it for half the price and it stayed fixed.
This last time, was a simple brake job. A $600 quote for a brake job is way out of line. You are probably trying to get too much markup on your parts, I don't believe your labor rate is too high. Turns out it did not need 4 new rotors, just two. I went back to my regular repair shop and paid $314 to get it done(a lot less than the 600 you quoted). Your story that all 4 needed replacement did not fly, and brake jobs should rarely run more than $100 per corner... Shame on you. We gave you an extra try because we go to church with you. 4 strikes, you're out.
I am not sure what the deal is over there, but you probably have too much overhead and not enough volume of work to support it. Good luck.
