My wife, "Mickey" Mantle, recently offered a trip to San Diego to celebrate my eleventh consecutive 60th birthday. Our choice of Mudville Flats was based mostly on the rave reviews displayed on this page by earlier guests .\r
Others have extolled the delightful marriage here of 19th century design and ambience with 21st century comfort and convenience at this unique inn, along with the charming bonus, even to Canadians, of the baseball memorabilia. They were spot on.\r
Even more pleasing for us, though, was the hospitality and guidance offered by our hosts, Linda and Mike. (Imagine my delight at being greeted at the door on my birthday with a solo H BD greeting, and a bottle of merlot strung to a celabratory balloon!)\r
Both Linda and Mike were available 24/7 without ever beingintrusive.Trust me. We've never found a more restful and convenient stop anywhere!
