I don't like spending money for auto repairs any more than the next guy, BUT, since I had to do so, I'm very, very happy that I brought my vehicle to Jay's. Meeting Rick as soon as I walked in gave me a sense of relief from the start. I let him know what I needed done and he kept me advised of the progress with a daily phone call. There were a few things that needed to be done and I wasn't pressured in ANY way to have them done. I inquired about having a tune-up done but Rick stated that there was no need for one as replacing the old and cracked vacuum hoses took care of the rough running. I bought my truck used many years ago and it has 250,000 miles on it and the mechanics that Jay's employs are second to none. My truck came back to me running better than it EVER has. I truly believe I have FINALLY found that very elusive HONEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP. Many thanks to Rick and a hearty handshake and broad smile to the mechanics. Won't go anywhere else from here on out. And, for your peace of mind, Jay's is part of a nationwide "co-op" so that if you have had your car repaired, and the repair(s) have failed within the warranty period, there is a phone number you can call to direct you to the nearest repair shop for a warranty repair. VERY NICE perk.
