I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Wilson's, and -- as I live nearby -- plan to go back often. The admission fee is quite reasonable (cash or check only). I was very impressed with the attention given to animal care, size of aviaries, and with the vast range provided to larger animals. Additionally, there is a marvelous gift shop with a huge array of t-shirts; animal motif items such as umbrellas and blankets; and animal toys, including reasonably priced hand puppets, plastic animal figures, and adorable wooden riding horses that bring fond memories of childhood.
Wilson's Wild Animal Park is a grand nature education opportunity for children as well as adults.
