I needed additional duct work added to my existing HVAC system and had Unique give me an estimate. I have a small house and this was a small job (1-2 days). They were very competent with their analysis of my system and what was required, and the communication was good. The estimate was $5,000 which was so ridiculously high that it's clear to me they were trying to price gouge and/or take advantage of unsuspecting people. This is, of course, completely unacceptable and not the type of business practice any customer should have to deal with. I had two other competent companies give me estimates for the same exact work to the sums of $2,500 and $1,850. I went with the $1,850 and couldn't have been more pleased with the job that was done. I'm so happy I didn't go with Unique and paid WAY more.
