In the past 2 years, I have purchased 2 laptops, a desktop, a high end printer, and 3 cameras from Best Buy. I was sold the best extended warranties on all the products, which I was assured would cover anything that went wrong ( except for the products being crushed or immersed in water). I also paid an extra $50 for in-home computer service. First, one of the laptops had to be sent out - the CD tray was not functioning - still not working. Then one of the camera's stopped working and was sent out only to be returned because "impact damage" voided the warranty-they did offer to fix the camera for $130 - more than half the cost of a brand new comparable camera. Then, my printer stopped working. When I called the store, they said I had to call an 800 #, which I did. After more than 2 hours on the phone with a Best Buy rep trying every which way to fix the problem, he concluded that it was an internal problem with the printer and instructed me to take the printer back to the store.
