Out of all the local arts and crafts stores, Michaels is one of those stores you just feel safe shopping in. They have a good selection of products, but are not the best at carrying harder to find items. If you're looking for the essentials and basics to get a project started, then Michaels is your place. They have a staff who is very helpful in finding what you need. Compared to other arts and crafts stores that are much larger, I notice Michaels makes it a point to take advantage of their smaller store size by giving great customer service......even just by having an employee simply saying hello and asking how I was doing made all the difference. So if you're someone who likes projects and needs a place where the staff knows what they're talking about, then Michaels Arts & Crafts is an excellent store.
PROS: Better customer service than any other arts and crafts store.
CONS: Not as large of a selection of items.
