On Sunday November 24, before the Holidays I took my 2009 Mini Cooper this Firestone in Carrollton, TX for an oil change and also notified them I was having problems with my antifreeze and asked them to check it. Upon pick up I was told everything was fine, no problem. On Friday November 29, my car overheated while driving home from Thanksgiving and was unable to turn back on. I chose to tow my car back to the same Firestone thinking they would be able to help and fix the problem that could have been easily prevented. After leaving my car at the location for 4 hours, I was told that there was a leak in the "complicated" thermostat system and they were unable to determine what caused the problem. The byproduct of that was internal damage to my engine, but they refused to diagnose the problem because "we're not going to mess with that".
