I love Payless shoes. I get my kids their shoes here and mine as well. I've found some really great deals over the years. They've gotten a lot better in quality. I found a great pair of fisherman sandals just like the $90 ones they sell at Nordstrom. I found out that all the designers for those fancy shoe labels (Keen, Nine West, etc) design for Payless as well. Go figure! Exact same stuff, only in manmade materials, not leather. They should get Alicia SIlverstone to be their spokesperson. But I digress...
This location is convenient (in the Tacoma Mall, right across from Old Navy - woo hoo!). I am a regular customer, and it doesn't break the bank to buy shoes for 4 or 5 people here.
