Recently, we had experienced an electrical issue in our garage. After spending a considerable amount of time troubleshooting and trying to resolve it myself, I finally decided to call an electrician. I didn't know who to call, as there are so many choices, but I knew there were some that I refused to call (based on their reputation and BBB rating). Finally, I chose Applewood Plumbing, Heating and Electrical (HPE) as I had heard good things about them in the past and they had an A+ rating with the BBB.
I made a great choice! Walt was the electrician they sent out to help me. He not only called to let us know he was on his way, but he was able to come out an hour early. Literally,within minutes, he was able to diagnose, fix and explain my problem (what a relief!)
The professionalism with which I was met was very refreshing from start to finish. I was expecting a huge bill and a bunch of ""electro-babble."" I got just the opposite. Walt didn't charge me and I got a clear understanding of why I was having the problem. They were even running a special where they waived the trip charge! Really, the experience was like calling a good neighbor to come over and help me out.
An honorable, competent electrician/HPE company is hard to come by, but I found both in Applewood. I will definitely use them in the future (as we are moving into a new house) and, obviously, recommend them wholeheartedly!
