Jay recommended my family try something slightly different than Maya Riviera because I wanted a real local Mexican feel... Iberostar 45 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta. Wow!!! Everything you would want from a 5 Star all inclusive with local feel and REAL waves. Really clear water because it isn't in the Puerto Vallarta bay. The resort was big enough to not get claustrophobic, but not too spread out like some resorts where you lose your group. \r \r Turns out the nearby town of Sayulida holds professional surfing tournaments, and then Bachelor in Paradise was there. $45 for 2-hour private surfing lessons with a sand bottom (no rocks). CRAZY FUN!!! Walking around the surfing town was great with the local bar owners spendinf time with us sharing their drink creations. The excursion to the hidden beach was a real adventure (just look-up the pictures of these caves).\r \r Jay... thank you for knowing your destinations and my family's needs so well. PS getting us upgraded to a junior suite with a beach view made the experience a 10.\r \r Absolutely no complications on this trip.
