ALERT:- CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!
I means no harm to anyone, but only to warn you all about Sonya Michelle's experience in doing the Keratin Straightening Treatment.
My daughter and I got a coupon from Groupon online with the option of paying online.
We contacted Sonya Michelle to do the Keratin Treatment for us.
First off, we were told that we can only pay cash when we come in for the service and the Groupon payment online will not be accepted.
Secondly, The location Sonia Michelle Hair Spa at: 10565 Greenbelt Rd, 20, Lanham, MD 20706 but instead we were told to meet her at ....
Third, she used a regular hot iron on our hair, not a iron capable with the temperature for bonding the hair, she had to go over my daughter's entire head three times in order to get it looking like a wash and press. Forth, the materials she uses seem to be something that she mixed and put together thinking it will work maybe to avoid the expense of purchasing the actual Keratin Straightening products.
She started our hair and did it with very little or no experience at doing Keratin Treatments.
We are aware of this because we have been studying and watching tons of video on YouTube as well as visiting other salons for several months getting information about the Keratin Straightening Treatment.
Three days after Sonya Michelle did our hair, the hair was completely back to its normal condition.
When we contacted her she mention we should come in for a treatment which cost $85.00 each and we should do this on a weekly or bi weekly bases (this is three days after she did our hair)
We saw a lot of hair pictures on her website, and I want to believe she knows how to do hair, but please do not do a Keratin Straightening Treatment with Sonya Michelle, I don’t think she is well trained in this area!!
Her final resolution was "I can't do any thing for you, go wash and press your hair out that might help"
