Amistee came highly recommended by another vendor that we use for other jobs.
We were very pleased with the work that Jeff and Barry did in our home. They arrived on time and were courteous, professional and friendly. We have very light carpeting and were pleased that they arrived with shoe covers because the carpeting goes down the basement steps as well. They went right to work starting in the basement and did some adjustments there and checked the registers and returns throughout the house. Although we had moved some items away from their work area, they informed us that they would do it so we took a seat and had a cup of coffee. They laid down protection runners and bumper cushions before running the duct vents through the kitchen and dining room to get to the basement. They also took pictures of the ducts before the cleaning and discovered that the builder/installers had left drywall pieces in the vents which told us that the previous company that cleaned our vents several years ago did a very poor good job of which we already knew because the furnace wouldn't start after they left and when we told them that we were going to put a stop payment on the check we had just wrote they showed within minutes, not to mention that they were supposed to clean our dryer vent but didn't because shortly afterward we had to replace our dryer and fortunately for us, the installer couldn't get the heat flowing and upon checking the vent, discovered clumps of lint clogged in the the piping.
Jeff and Barry did not rush but took their time in every room and in the basement. What impressed us most was that they did an excellent cleanup when their work was completed. We would not hesitate to give a high recommendation on a job well done and hope that all Amistee employees have the same work ethics as Jeff and Barry.
