Review content:
I have bought two major appliances in last year from Sears in Buena Park, $1500 Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel refrigerator that began to rust around the water and ice dispenser in less than three months. Sears says its our fault for water leaking under the facing of the water dispenser. Tonight we installed Kenmore microwave that I bought on Black Friday but couldn't install until kitchen remodel was completed. We opened box today for the first time and the light would not turn off and the microwave would not operate because the door sensor is broken and it says the door is open. Tried to even exchange at Sears because our cabinets are built specifically to the size of microwave. Manager Jeremy said to take it to a repair shop, I explained situation an asked him if he would accept a brand new opened appliance that he had to take directly to a repair store. He said it didn't matter when you open the box only when you buy it. Every major appliance that I have purchased for the last 27 years I have bought from Sears because my parents, and grandparents swore by Sears. Today I stepped foot in Sears for the last time. Congratulations Jeremy, all for refusing an even exchange on a faulty appliance straight out of the factory box.
