Review content:
I was very hopeful when I made the initial call to Midwest. Dan was great and led me to believe that they would give me some good options to rosolve my cars problem. I'm confident that the problem is my center differential but I thought it couldn't hurt to have a diagnosis. When Dan got back to me after the tech looked at it, he made me feel like they had no idea what the problem was and recommended "trying" fluid service. I understand that you can only get so much info from the symptoms without opening the transmission. I was told the tech found online that some have had good luck flushing the fluid. This sounds more like "trying something" rather than finding the problem. I realize that I probably should have asked for a price on a center diff or a used transmission, I was just hoping you'd have the resources for a smarter fix. Also, I understand that communication between tech/service writer/customer can be difficult but I was a little insulted to be told that I'm crazy for stopping the diagnoses process when I was just avoiding throwing money at the car just to have the tech learn more about this problem.
