Review content:
We were told the model we walked through was the same as ours. Then came the bait and switch. We received our apartment in a condition that I can only describe as nauseating. We had been promised by the apartment manager that she personally did a walkthrough. If by walkthrough she meant she held their breath while sprinting through the apartment, blindfolded, swinging a dead skunk by the tail, then we agree. The walls were slimy, the floors were disgusting, and the dust at least seemed to be providing insulation from the elements. One of their staff pulled me aside and told me to document everything and take photos. He's no longer with them.\r

The carpet stunk but we were promised by management (again) that they replaced the carpet and pad so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. It turned out they only covered up the old pad with a new carpet. It smelled of swamp breeze the whole time we lived there. The carpet had exposed nails on the transitions to other areas.
