I would stay away from this place like the plague.
If I could put a negative star, I would. A call to a vet technician tonight confirmed my suspicion: we were taken for a ride when we took our ill cat to CEVC.
All of the reviews below saying this clinic preys on those in a bad situation and fails to give adequate informed consent about the most humane AND economical solutions... those are dead on.
My elderly mother brought her cat in yesterday. Told that her temp indicated the cat was in really bad shape - but that they couldn't make ANY determinations without an additional $500 comprehensive diagnostic test.... Let me tell you: Do not do it. This bill will go up in no time. And we still did not achieve any determinations. When we were pressured to leave the cat for intravenous fluids until Monday when our normal vet would be available, we felt a little relieved that the clinic would investigate the possibility of a non-life-ending solution.
