My experience with the S.H. Eye Center lies with the actual eye ""doctor"" side of the facility, not the new glasses/contact lens side. I had gotten an ""laceration with ulceration"" in my left cornea from, of all things, wearing my contact lenses too much. I have soft contacts, too, and disposables at that and still had a problem. I guess no contacts are 100% ""safe"". Anyway. I started having pain on a Saturday and, by Monday, I was in so much pain couldn't stand it any longer. I called S.H. Eye Center after my stepdad had a good experience as well with them when he needed the eye ""doctor"" services. They got me in almost immediately. I saw Dr. Jung at first who was extremely nice and very helpful. All the staff was wonderful as well. He diagnosed me as above and gave me some samples of the medicated drops, drops for pain relief, and natural tears. I was to come back the next day. After one day, my eye was feeling better, but still painful. I learned that the cornea is the part of body that takes the longest to heal. Dr. Jung wanted me to see Dr. Williams, the ""cornea"" doctor just to be sure we were on the right path. Dr. Williams was wonderful as well, very knowledgable and very nice. It's been a week now, my eye feels about 95% better. I'm very grateful to the doctors and staff at S.H. Eye Center. I don't have insurance and the office visits were reasonably priced, too, which helps. \r \r I would definitely recommend the wonderful doctors and staff at Spring Hill Eye Center if you have a real ""eye emergency"" and need the doctor side of the business...Since I haven't been to the glasses/ contract lens side, I can't comment on that...but I've had wonderful service so far with the other side. Pros: Great Staff, Reasonably price if you don't have insurance, Very knowledgeable Cons: No cons
