Here's the thing.....Neergaard has been a neighborhood staple since I was a kid. It was the ""go to 24hr drug store"" that everyone went to. I am pretty peeved right now, hence the reason I'm writing. I pay an exorbitant amount of money for my healthcare. Yes, I pay and have for years because you have to if you have a job. Now they'll even punish you if you work and you don't. So, can you believe I call Neergaard today to go pick up an arm brace. I work all week and now live in the BX, but wanted to remain loyal. The guy on the phone tells me that because it's Sunday I can't apply this expense to my insurance. If I want to pay out of pocket, he'd be happy to sell it to me. Are you gosh darn kidding me!!!! The insurance company is open to my claim, why aren't you!!!??? But, you'll take my money!!! Neergaard doesn't specify they do foolishness their on their website, so I came all the way to BK for nothing! Suffice it to say, NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. \r
I will never go to Neergaard again. I'll be sure to tell all my friends to do the same.
