Dr. Strong was a really amazing and talented practitioner. A lot of people don't realize that quality dentistry is an art as much as a science (think sculptor, except their medium is your teeth) and a lot of talent has to come together to make a relatively painless and efficient procedure. Dr. Strong's injections were essentially painless for me, and that is the first time I've ever had that experience in a dentist's chair. \r \r Root canals take a long time, but I never felt that I was waiting unneccesarily. I've had two root canals in my life and the first one, while well done and not painful, took a heck of a lot longer and hurt for longer after the fact. This one was as smooth as silk. Worst part literally was keeping my mouth open so long.\r \r As far as the staff, after my ~1.5 hours in the chair, I went to the staff who presented my bill - without insurance applied. When i inquired about it, I was asked if I wanted to wait while they ran it. It made me wonder what they had been up to while I was in the chair. I also wondered if they get anyone who DOESN'T want to apply their insurance to a thousand dollar procedure.\r \r So overall, a fast, and efficient experience with a bit of an odd ending. You choose long-term doctors for their staffs because you have to deal with them a lot. Hopefully, you won't need a whole lot of root canals, and this dentist is the man you want doing it. Pros: Awesome office. Cons: If i didn't have a good understanding of insurance, I'd have been had.
