Review content:
We had heard good things about Bowden's and understood they had been in this business for years so we had high hopes, maybe way too high. They were very nice and professional initially. We chose fireplace doors and were told they would come out to measure and that our charge card would not be charged until the order was placed. They came out and measured. A couple days later we received a call saying because of the size of our fireplace, we could not get the doors we had chosen and that we would have to get custom made doors. We told them we would be back in to talk with them because we did not know if we wanted to spend what it would require for custom. We never did choose other doors but our credit card was charged. We stopped in and also called about this - 6 months later, we received a credit. Very unprofessional and very disappointing.
