Businiess name:  Cilantro Cocina Mexicana
Review by:  Gina L.
Review content:
Cilantro is Flossmoor’s deliciously healthy Mexican secret. They offer a variety of semi-authentic Mexican dishes that don’t leave your stomach feeling too heavy. The guacamole nachos are good, but I would recommend the chorizo and potato taquitos. If you’ve never had this before, it’s a good time to try something new! You will find Mexican beers and tasty margaritas, but I measure Mexican authenticity by if a restaurant serves horchata, (Mexican rice water), which cilantro doesn't’t offer. They do give you a bowl of homemade chips and salsa, to curb your hunger pains while you decide what to order. And most of the entrées are so tasty that you’ll care less about how authentic they are and instead spend time dreaming up reasons to come back and try something different. I’ve never had to wait for a seat, however it does get pretty loud and crowded at night when most people get hungry for dinner. I find that most of my Homewood-Flossmoor friends have never heard of the place, and I feel sorry for them. I recommend it to all who will listen and if you are in the area please stop by.
