One star is being generous. If I could rate this negatively I absolutely would. This was the worst salon I've ever been to and the worst shellac manicure I've EVER had in my entire life!!!!!!!!11
I went to Gentiana because I had a buywithme coupon to use for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. It hasn't even been one full week and a large chunk of the manicure just peeled off my thumb!! I am outraged. As soon as I left my mediocre appointment I considered writing a negative review, but thought I wouldn't bother and it was a coupon and I shouldn't complain. But this is ridiculous!! I have had regular manicures last longer than this and it's a shellac manicure!! The manicurist kept raving about how great it was and how it would last for at least 2 weeks if not more ... clearly she was full of it. I didn't even do anything to cause it to chip. I haven't been washing dishes, washiing my hands excessively, I've been doing NOTHING and this is the result?!! WHAT A JOKE!! DO NOT EVER GO TO GENTIANA!! it was a nightmare trying to make the appointment and the salon itself looks like it was just opened. It is so sparse inside, they don't even have comfortable chairs for the manicures and pedicures, let alone even a bowl with jets to soak your feet! I am so annoyed at not only the service, but the results. I wish I could get my money back.
