Mr. Patrick D. Bryan, Owner of ""Bryans Technology"" is one of the most unprofessional, and dishonest business owners I've ever been in contact with. Don't catch him on lunch or you'll get your head chewed off. It doesn't matter if he contacts you first. Dishonest, Unprofessional, and over priced! I was researching the shady side of the computer industry in the Springfield and the surrounding area. I used the same test that NBC, CBS, and other highly proclaimed TV news casts had used. I took the IDE cable from an old desktop and loosened it, giving an error on boot up. Then took it into ""Bryan Technologies"" to see what the price and problem would come out to be. Diagnosis fee of $65 just to look at my machine. When stated to come back in about 3-4 hours I accepted and returned later that afternoon once I had received call that the diagnosis was back. Low and behold my hard drive is ""dead"". I am to purchase a new one for $89, then with the OS install another $99 and if I wish to have my data backed up that's another $50. And there's more; supposedly my machine was infected with a ""virus"" as well. My machine is infected with a virus yet, my hard drive is ""dead"". How does that work Mr. Patrick? We are looking at a bill over $300 and the only problem is a loose IDE cable connecting the hard drive to the motherboard. All in all I rate this business and 1 out of 10. Hopefully next time Patrick, you will be more considerate of you clientele.
