Businiess name:  Lupa Zoo

Review content:
We decided to take our six year old daughter to Lupa "zoo" today, in hopes that we would enjoy seeing a variety of beautiful animals. Within minutes of entering we began to see many beautiful animals that were in horrible dirty conditions. Their enclosures were old and falling apart, paint chipping from the wood. The animals all had a look of sadness and depression on their faces. Upon entering the reptile enclosure we were greeted with such a strong stench of feces and urine, it was almost too much to bear. There in front of us was a pen with several rabbits that had a plate of rotten bananas and fruit that was full of flies and I noticed the water bowl was full of rabbit feces , wood chips and appeared to be the color of urine. We saw a group of Sicilian donkeys that were all trying to escape their depressing enclosure, by scraping the asphalt ground repeatedly with their hooves. I've been to many zoos and this place has to be the worst I've ever seen. There was no way I was going to leave there without filing a complaint. I was directed to the owner. I calmly approached this woman, telling her I had a few complaints and she automatically began to raise her voice, and making excuses for why the animals had dirty conditions to live in. To me, there is no excuse that justifies the way those poor animals are forced to exist. Lupa needs to hire more help and refurbish the grounds and animal habitats. Stop taking donations to purchase more animals, when you can't properly care for the ones you already own! This place has the potential of being a nice zoo that highlights and compliments the animals and their beauty but instead it will continue to haunt me and my family after today's visit. I highly recommend you choose a different zoo if you want to enjoy your day! This place needs to be shut down and the animals need to be rescued from the dump they are forced to live with
