I took my 2008 Corvette in for service. I bought the car used 2 months prior. I thought I was having a transmission issue; I'm going to make this as short as possible. \r \r They had the car overnight and called me the next day saying they couldn't find anything wrong. I absolutely disagreed so they said they needed the car for another whole day. The 2nd day goes by ande I call my service advisor. She again said I'm sorry but we can't find anything wrong. \r \r As it turns out, there's a button on the console labeled Competition Driving mode. This needs to be on for my problem not to exist. They had no clue about this. I admit that I didn't know about this (I did read my manual), HOWEVER, I cannot believe the dealer and even the "shop foreman" wasn't aware of this function. Some things will never change. I'm just blown away at the level of incompetence of dealers and they continue to provide terrible support and service.
