This is one of those rare gems of a store. Sure, it's ACE Hardware, they're big and they're all over the place. BUT, each ACE Hardware store has it's own flavor, and this one suits the vanilla and chocolate lovers alike.
It's a store where you walk in and are sincerely greeted. The staff walks the aisles, and you can almost always find someone nearby unless they found you first. The most helpful part of all is that they all seem to be cross-trained. It doesn't matter who I ask about anything...they have the answer. They might need to get a second opinion, but they never hand you off to someone else. And ladies: you're treated equally. It's not as huge as the "big guys", but you can pretty much find everything you need for a weekend project.
PROS: Excellent customer service and knowledge
CONS: Shorter hours; a little pricier.
