Review content:
I love Dr. Gentry and her staff. I have been going to her on a monthly basis since I found out I was pregnant five months ago and I have never had to wait more than 20-25 minutes to see her. I feel like this is a reasonable amount of time to wait and enjoy the downtime I get to read People in the examination room. I really appreciate her hands-off/non-intervention philosophy. She didn't pressure me into paying for extra genetic testing and I haven't had any unnecessary ultrasounds or tests. She also just hired a midwife because, in her words, most people don't need ob-gyns at their deliveries. The caveat to all of this is that I won't actually be using Dr. Gentry's office to deliver my baby since I am switching to Kaiser (for cost reasons - Dr. Gentry's office doesn't accept the Aetna HMO plan I wanted to switch to). So I don't know how that would go but based on her laid back demeanor so far, I imagine that the experience would be positive.
