Review content:
From our first night there things weren't right. Unfortunately due to a world wide convention & other events going on in the area hotels were booked even in January when I made the reservation. I booked a Jacuzzi Suite for two reasons, we are getting married next month so it was suppose to be like a mini honeymoon & it was close to where we needed to be. The room had a foul smell, like dirty old rags. When I turned up the air, it was worse. I complained the next day but no other rooms were available. I stayed and by the second day, we were bitten, I thought it was mosquitoes but when the bites started to appear on my belly side & several upon waking up I feared the obvious. I stripped the sheets back to find a cushioned bed cover over a bed bug cover. In between the 2 were lot's of granule like droppings or eggs. I went to the Manager and told him I was being bitten by bugs. He responded, It was probably a rash from the soap because someone else had one. I think not, I think it was bugs that bit her too. I however told him these are bites, if it would have been a rash why were both I & my fiance itching. I told him I shouldn't have. When I went to check out, was gone and the attendant told me he couldn't do anything for me because his manager told him not too that he would when he got back. I later discovered he only took off $68, without even discussing it with me.I don't recommend this hotel not only because of the bugs, the pictures on their site give off an impression but the truth is another. I didn't even get to enjoy the Jacuzzi because the water didn't come out hot but warm. Here is a tip that I will certainly live by, when reading reviews search for all the bad ones first, if you see a trend even if it's just a few, don't stay. Review sites simply post them as they are written so you have select, reviews from lowest rating to high. That's when you will really know the true story. Check with several sites and check your bed by lifting sheets. Get everything in writing from manager at the moment it happens.
