Brought my 2012 Sonata in because after it has been parked for two or more days without driving the battery is drained. Over the past year it has happened 3 different times. The first time I replaced the battery and the next two times I had it jumped and the car worked fine until I left it for a few days again. A couple of months ago I took it to Stockton Hyundai and they kept it over night and said they narrowed it down to a loose fuse box that was draining the battery. Then a month and a half later I went out of town and when I came back my car wouldn't start. I jumped it and took it to the dealer. They kept my car for 4 days so they could let the car sit and see what was happening. On day three they called me and told me it wouldn't start but they said it wouldn't start because the mechanic left the keys in the ignition. He told me that next time the battery dies bring it to they and they will give it a look. I thought I was brining it to the dealer because they were the experts on the brand. I am very disappointed in the service I got. There was also an issue with the check engine light coming on because of an evap system code but they couldn't tell me what was actually happening to make the check engine light come on. I eventually had three things fixed hoping that it was one of those pieces. So far the light has not come back on. I am so unsatisfied with the service I received. I will be going on vacation this summer and it sucks to know that I will come home to a dead car.
