Michael P. Vitucci MS, DVM has a characteristic of a used salesman. He cares more about his pocketbook then his actual patients. Prime example, our dog had torn his ACL and needed surgery. Dr Michael Vitucci was trying to push this surgery the very next day. My gut told me something wasn't right and on that same day, I took my dog to be looked at by another Veterinary Facility. Well my gut feeling was right. We should of taken care of his infection first before actually doing the surgery. If we had gone with the surgery the next day, we would of been looking at his new implant being infected for his torn ACL by this infection. We also did our research on Dr Michael Vitucci he isn't Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Yes he may have done surgeries before but If I am going to invest several of thousand of dollars into my dog, then that Vet better be certified and should know what he is doing. If you truly care for your pets as much as I do, I would stay away from Dr Michael Vitucci. We also have had some friends who have run into the same problem with this Doctor. He only cares about his pocketbook and bringing in the money!!
