The people were all nice. The fact that i was gouged on the price left a very bad taste in my mouth. I still feel like I should call and get some kind of refund. I flew into LGA last week and had to get a rental car for me and a colleague. This was a last minute reservation because the person who was to get the car changed their travel plans. \r \r I call from the airport and was told on their general reservation line that the LGA location had cars. I jumped on the shuttle and headed there. They actually quoted me around $450 and I told him that I thought that was too much since we have been traveling to NY since the end of March and have rented cars every week and the most expensive car we had over the last 12 weeks was $400.00. He said to talk to the representative at the LGA location. \r \r I was told upon arrive that there were no cars available. I was none too thrilled and told them that I was told there were cars. Miraculously they were able to find me a car. It ended up costing me over $550. Of course I thought that the increased car price was because it was a late rental. I believe that they absolutely played me so they could rent the car for $550 instead of the rate I would normally pay somewhere else of about $350.00. \r \r I am on an expense budge and more importantly we pass our costs on to our clients and therefore in the end I am spending my client's money. As you can imagine a $550 rental car price probably was not in budget. \r \r I took it all at face value, in other words I believed the people at that location. I am sure it is some kind of sales plan for Enterprise and that the employees really did not know what they were even doing. Maybe they did. I hope that Enterprise can recognize this as healthy criticism. and use it to understand that while we may not look the part or even act on the part, some of us are seasoned travelers and perhaps not take advantage of the customers. \r \r Thank you,\r \r KR
