We held a surprise 40th birthday party for my sister at Olive Garden in Burlington with about 20 people to be served - all age levels. This was on a Saturday night. \r
Amanda Johnson was the night manager. We reserved the space an hour before we needed it according to instructions I had received earlier in the week from Amanda. I can not tell you how great everyone was from the manager, to the front desk people to the waiter and waitresses who waited on us that night. They were more accommodating and polite than I could have imagined under the circumstances of trying to pull off a surprise party in a very busy restaurant. Amanda had faith when I just knew we were not going to get seated and set up in time for my sister to arrive. It was great! We were allowed the freedom of decorating our tables enough for it to look like a party. Everyone had the best time and that had everything to do with how the restaurant staff treated us.
