TOTAL RIPOFF. Called Universe the week before Christmas to come and look at my stove. The oven was not lighting. I had bought parts before from the Lynbrook store and found them to be knowledgable and helpful. Not this time. I knew the problem was a simple one and would have tried to fix it myself if not for the fact that it was just before Christmas, i had no time and we were hosting. The guy came over when my wife was home and charged us $277.95 to replace the ignitor. My wife stood there while the guy did the repair which took all of ten minutes. Brain surgeons don't get paid at that rate. I called to complain and was told that it shouldn't have happened, that they would check into it and get back to me. I'm still waiting.......
