I will give Joe M that the music is too loud, but probably the reason nobody had a bible with them is because unlike other churches Crossroads has a large screen that they display the scripture on and the give you a paper and pen to take notes on for when you get home, so there is really no need to bring your bible. I don't think that they just talk about life, I think that they do preach and talk about life to show you how scripture relates to your everyday life and they do say that you need to do more than just the Sunday services to develop your relationship with God. I don't think it is correct to say that it's not a church, everyone that is there is there to learn about God and the bible to determine if they want a relationship with Him or to learn how to grow their relationship with Him.
