Took my laptop in as it had no power. Looking on the internet and found many links to same problem and with the same solution to them. Took to Ky Trade and even talked about what I found on the internet. I can't do board soldering but Ky Trade said they could. Laptop sat a week with me calling several times after the 3rd day when finally informed that they can't find the problem and motherboard is bad. Only thing they can do is replace the motherboard. I paid $50 for the appraisal. Went to eBay and found several vendors offering service to my laptop for same issue, money back guarantee for $100. Sent to NY and had back in 5 days repaired.
