These apartments are undergoing condo conversion with no regard for the current residents at all. \r \r Last month, we were without hot water for an entire day at least four times. Last week, we were compelled to leave our apartments unsecured to allow plumbing contractors access for some renovation. This week, the process is being repeated, and we will not have the use of our bathrooms overnight. No offers of alternate accomodation, no consideration on the rent. In addition, because building contractors demolished our steps into the apartment, we had to enter the building on a 1x6 gangplank. \r \r The property manager delivers notice of intrusions only the day before, in the late afternoon. It's a nice technique, so residents don't see the "information" until they get home from work and don't have any chance to react or ask questions.
