I've been apartment shopping all week and it's proved to be quite the tedious task. The first place I went to though, Shenandoah Properties, was an absolute nightmare. I called the day before to set up an appointment, but was told appointments weren't necessary as walk-ins are welcome. i decided that would be easier for me so I just went the next day and the employees in the office ignored me while on their computers and then when I was finally helped I was waiting ATLEAST 15 minutes so they could find an apartment to show me. Maybe they shouldn't have walk-ins as an option, as they were extremely unprepaires. On the plus side the apartments were clean,spacey and overall very nice. The price is a little higher than most around the area, but you get what you pay for.
