Businiess name:  Virginia Nut Shop
Review by:  Tina S.
Review content:
Owner cuts corners everywhere possible. Buys very cheap grades of chocolate(tastes waxy and it flakes off). Undercooks and overcooks the nuts, then tries to sell their mistakes to customers. Many times the store is closed during open posted hours. Frequently uses rancid oil to cook the nuts. Nuts are DEEP-FRIED in unhealthy, old oil because owner, doesn't change the oil often enough. Often the nut bins are uncovered, flies come in and sit in the uncovered bins. UNSANITARY, why would you WANT TO BUY FROM THIS STORE????? Doesn't keep the store fully stocked, empty shelves, always looks like they are just one step away from going out of business. Many of the items on the shelves have been there way past the expiration dates. Doesn't follow through on promised orders, product isn't there when customers try to pick it up. Forget about mail-order. A friend who was with me placed an order at Christmas to be sent to her parents in Florida, guess what, it never arrived. Took her three months to finally get a refund on something that was never sent.
