Review content:
I have never been treated so poorly in all my life. When the cold snap started on Feb. 1, 2011 I woke up to frozen pipes. Okay everyone was back logged I get it. SO, I called Roto-Rooter told them I lived in a mobile home and I waited patiently. The tech came out after 5:00 pm claimed he didn't have the ""right"" equipment so had to go back to where ever back was to get the right stuff. He comes back and proceeds to put ""two"" space heaters underneath my house and says that will do the trick. I asked him why the space heaters and not use a NIPCO? Because it was late, cold, and wanted to go home (okay I get that too). He left me his phone number so I could call him the next day and I paid $350 that night. I called the next morning waited an hour for him to call back no response, called dispatch and I was told I was ""scheduled"" between 10am-12pm but they were back logged (still get it but I was the LAST customer and should have been the first this morning Feb. 2, 2010). After calling off and on all day and getting the run around. At 6:00 pm (almost 24 hours later) I had enough and went our to shut off the ""two"" space heaters-can you say...LIAR. Only one space heater was under the house and the ENTIRE main line is frozen (or at least that is what I was told). I called dispatch again where a ""manager"" by the name of Jackie proceeded to tell me ""at least he tried"" that they (Roto-Rooter) could not do anything else because I had a mobile home and the only thing they could do was the two space heaters and wait for it to get warm (am I supposed to wait until spring?) If Roto-Rooter was unable to un-thaw the pipes this should have been said so when I called. Plus, I know for fact a NIPCO heater can be used to thaw frozen water lines in mobile homes (my family has owned and lived in them for years). As I write this I still have no water (2 days now) I have been unable to shower (lets just say I can't leave the house), flush a toilet, wash clothes, or dishes. So, really while I have to give one star actually ROTO-ROOTER in COLORADO SPRINGS and the NATIONAL CHICAGO (that's where you call when you call your ""local"" number) has earned zero, zip, nadda, and I will not ever recommend, or use the ""SERVICE"" again. What b@#$%s to charge honest people $350 and not complete the service!
