Review content:
I'm fairly familiar with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, and had tried several practitioners here in NY; I highly recommend Virginia (Ginny) Mims, who has been my best experience so far.\r Viriginia is not only a skilled acupunturist, she's also a skilled herbalist (I've found that many acupunturists in New York only do needles and don't do Chinese herbal medicine, even though traditionally the two went together, which makes Virginia a special find.) I found Virginia's custom made medicinal teas and tinctures to be a great supplement to my accupuncture treatment, since they were something I could do at home to take care of my own health in between acupuncture treatments. \r I've seen Virginia to treat physical ailments and also emotional issues (depression, anxiety) and i found her treatments highly effective especially in helping me deal with depression and anxiety issues.\r Virginia is very thorough and she follows up; she won't give up until you're feeling better.\r Also, she has one of the best ""bed side manners"" I've seen amongst acupuncturists- she's warm, caring, humble, very easy to talk to, she knows what questions to ask and listens well. It's really a delight to be in her pressence. \r
