Review content:
We rented a car from Alamo at LAX April 11 of this year. Despite our sign-up with Alamo Insiders, we still had to wait in line at the rental counter, where our booking experience was eventually very pleasant. When we got to the lot to pick up our car, however, there were none available, and soon four other parties were standing around looking for their rental cars as well. After a 15 minute wait, an attendant volunteered that we should just ""take any car."" We thereby got a nice Chrysler upgrade, and the rest of the experience including the return was hassle-free. Be prepared to avoid toll roads in California if you can -- the on-line payment process is convoluted for those who live out-of-state. All in all, a pleasant experience at Alamo, marred only by the delay in getting into our car.
