re Michelle G.\r \r In response to your "irradiating" experience in the dental program.....weren't u told to stand at a certain distance and did not follow instuctions? If you would have been standing at the appropriate distance that you had been advised of several times before, there would be no reason for you to make such a stink. If you thought x-rays were so dangerous why were u still continuing the program while being pregnant? No one was making you stay. I'm sure that you could have finished the program after you had your baby without having too much $$ added to your balance. \r \r And by the way- the harful radiation produced from a dental x-ray is far less than people would like to think. The beam is tightly restricted and x-rays only travel in straight lines and do not linger.....(ie once the machine is turned off - the radiation stops)\r \r You shouldn't blame the school for your negligence of their repeated warnings while they were using the dental x-ray machine.
